F-16 crashes near Spangdahlem AB, pilot OK

A U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon crashed Oct. 8 at about 3 p.m CEST, near Zemmer, Germany, during a routine training sortie.
The training event exhibited the 52nd Fighter Wing's ability to generate large number of aircraft, and is an effective deterrent to threats by demonstrating a show of force.
