Breaking barriers: Miller nominated as AF Reserve’s first 4-star

Lt. Gen. Maryanne Miller was nominated by President Donald Trump and confirmed by the U.S. Senate for promotion to the rank of general Aug. 20. Miller will become the first Airman in the history of the Air Force Reserve to pin on a fourth star. In 2016, she became the first female chief of the Air Force Reserve and commander of the Air Force Reserve Command.
